Abstract
Process management is a phenomenon that is nowadays mostly prevalent in the private sector. Businesses went from functional management to process management, mainly due to increase efficiency of their business performance. Recently, this trend starts to apply in the public sector. The dominant pioneer in business transformation of traditional management to process management is the United State of America. Businesses operating in Europe in this direction slightly behind. Despite this many governments are found in Western Europe that have successfully implemented elements of process management into its public system.
