Abstract
Dear readers,
By releasing the first issue of the year 2014 we are opening the third volume of our international scientific journal. At this oportunity we would like to thank all the authors and reviewers who have helped to get started high quality of the contributions which we continue to maintain. We strive progressively to register Information Technology Applications magazine into the indexed databases thereby increasing its attractiveness for publishing high-class and actual scientific articles. Even now, in this issue, the quality of written word is given high thanks to the contributions of L. Andrášik, J. Voříšek and J. Pour. Their articles are focused on the Computer Simulation of Economy based on Knowledge and the Model of Business Informatics Management. No less ineteresting is the Reference Model Problem from the field of Application Architecture in enterprises (or businesses) and public administration, the use of informatic literacy mainly in the field of enterprise-, organization- and process management, IT Service Management and Business Architecture in the context of strategic management which is presented in the contributions of P. Hrabě, L. Révészová, F. Vencovský, A. Buchalcevová and V. Selčan. Especially we are pleased prestigious expert V. Řepa have had an interest in an article published in one of our previous magazine‘s volumes. That impulse made him write the article eGovernnment and Process Management in Public Administration. We expect the readers can find new impulses for their own research in the contribution of Algorithm Parallelization from T. Páleník et al. which presents the results of international projects solutions in cooperation of offices in Portugal and Austria. At the close of this issue we suggest to pay attention to the information of Czech Society for Systems Integration which support the activities focused on the infomatics in private and public sector.
