Abstract
Dear readers
Current special issue of the scientific journal Information Technology Applications you are holding in your hands is mainly focused on information technology applied in public administration and government performance in general. Main objective of this special issue is to obtain new insights into scientific and practical problems of performance and information management in fields of public administration.
Single contributions are focused on:
- establishing methodology and an index for measuring the level of trust building mechanisms and its application on selected e-market places,
- process modeling in the selected self-government region,
- examining the causes of the differences in economic performance of V4 countries,
- reengineering, as a tool of increasing the performance of territorial self-governance,
- benchmarking as the most commonly used method for measuring the performance of public services,
- analysis of communal property as one of the aspects, that allow municipalities to improve their performance.
At the end of this issue we provide a short interesting review of scientific journal focused on financial situation and territorial self-governance performance and information about scientific conference about theory and practice of public administration. We believe that the published contributions will be inspiring for your scientific - research work.
