Abstract

Dear readers,

The current stage in research and teaching is focused on the development of advanced intelligent methods and technologies in a wide range of simulation and control of technological processes in industry and service sectors.

Contributions in this issue therefore have a broad scope with the aim of illuminating some new perspectives on the effective use and implementation of advanced methods and algorithms in control and production.
