Abstract

This paper aims on solving optimization problems, specially solving the vehicle routing problem for Bratislava Self-Governing Region, by use of bee colony algorithm. Bees are highly organized social insects. The survival of the entire colony depends on every individual bee. Bees use systematic task segregation among them to ensure a continues existence of their colony. By simulating behavior of bees during foraging we can efficiently find optimal solutions to optimization problems.
