Abstract
The paper is oriented on process modeling in the territorial self-government. The theoretical and practical discussions about the usage of modern tools and methods in public administration have become more intensive, especially in context with performance and modernization. The internal processes are optimized by process modeling. Practical part of article presents outputs of PROMOSA project (Process Modeling in the Self-Government of Slovakia). It contains of three parts: identification of key and support processes in particular areas of municipalities, creating the global maps and maps in details. Selected research town is Košice.
