Abstract

The contribution is aimed at defining the relationship between the employee's job performance, the performance and efficiency of the organization. The central concept in article is competency as determinants of job performance. At present it is necessary to realize that job performance is not only out of human activity, it is the way how job performance is achieved. Contribution in linking by the Boyatzis competence clusters, competence model and describe the impact of key competences of the employees as an extension of knowledge for effective performance. The aim of article is to highlight the need for employee performance management tailored the competency of each employee. It is not enough that the employee has the knowledge and skills, necessary to perform the job, it is essential that he has the competence to apply this knowledge to increase the job performance. The output of the contribution is to illustrate the performance management under effective management competence of employee with the result of the overall increase organizational performance.
