Abstract

In this paper, we will address the issue of digitalisation of various production processes, using modern information and communication technologies. This trend falls under the fourth industrial revolution, Industry 4.0. One of the challenges is the creation of advanced human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for cyber-physical systems. New forms of interfaces can be implemented in augmented reality. The paper therefore deals with the connection of a discrete-event system with 3D engine Unity. 3D engines are used to develop augmented reality applications.
